    You have to admire the books by the affable Dr Mosely from, ‘Trust Me I’m a Doctor’, not only because of his chatty, honest style but because of the robust research that goes into all his published work. He’s most famous as the author of the 5:2 Fast Diet and this time he turns his attention to solving the nations insomnia problems rather than tackling waistlines. This book is a great introduction to the role sleep plays in our lives but no where near as comprehensive as the explanation given by Professor Matthew Walker. Whilst this book looks at mainly the routine & nutrition needed to support effective night-time sleep, he does say it’s OK to nap as long as it’s around 7 hours after you wake and a short enough to not run the risk of inertia or grogginess on waking. Just what we say with our 20-minute refresh, recovery nap!
